Hi friends,
It’s been a while.
The last time I sat down to write a blog post was in 2024, and while it wasn’t intentional, life has a way of pulling you in directions you never saw coming. Somewhere between raising my little boy, growing a business rooted in healing, and navigating the beautiful mess of everyday life, I stopped writing. Not because I didn’t have anything to say, but because I was living the stories instead of telling them.
But I’ve missed it. I’ve missed you. The conversations, the reflections, the way writing allows me to connect, not just with others, but with myself.
So today, I’m returning. A little older. A little wiser. Still full of heart. Still learning. Still healing.
If you’re new here, let me reintroduce myself. My name is Lauren. I’m a mom to the most spirited, sweet two-year-old boy who lights up my world. I’m married to my best friend, someone who walks beside me in every season. I have a pup named Crosby who, let’s be honest, is just as much a part of the family as any of us. And I’m a big believer in homeopathic remedies, living gently, and putting our health mental, physical, and spiritual first.
After my son was born, I began a personal journey of healing, self-discovery, and transformation. At one point, I weighed over 200 pounds. Today, I’ve lost 73 pounds, but more than that, I’ve gained peace. My journey wasn’t about chasing a number; it was about reclaiming myself. I’ve struggled with weight loss my entire life, and now I’m on a mission to show other women what’s possible when we lead with compassion and consistency, not punishment and pressure.
That’s why I created my postpartum video series. Twelve healing, empowering videos for mamas who want to feel like themselves again. It’s more than fitness, it’s about reconnecting with your body after one of the most life-altering experiences imaginable.
So, what can you expect from me here going forward?
Honesty. Vulnerability. Stories from the front lines of motherhood. Natural healing tips. Weight loss wisdom. Life stories. Maybe a few tears, but always, always love.
I don’t have it all figured out, but I promise to show up authentically. That’s what this space has always been about.
Thanks for being here, whether you’re an old friend or new. I’m excited to begin again with a little more courage in my step and a lot more life in my words.
With love and light,
Lauren
