10 Facts About Me
- I am a Hopeless Romantic! I LOVE love!! I enjoy a great Rom-Com like When Harry Met Sally, Overboard, or Pretty Woman. I equally enjoy getting lost in a Romantic Novel. I would not change this quality in me. I choose to see the good in people first and foremost. However, this quality has also led me to ignore some pretty big RED FLAGS. I learned that I could keep my love of romance, but I also had to keep boundaries and surround myself with those who showed great qualities and treated me with respect.
- Writing is my passion!! I found my love of writing when we had a creative writing class in elementary school. From there my mind soared. I have written a few Screen Plays and submitted one to a competition. My favorite part of writing is creating Characters. You can build a person, their looks, their personalities, give them their own lives, their own stories.
- My Favorite desserts are Cupcakes and Brownies! Baking at home is DANGEROUS for me! I could probably eat a whole pan of brownies by myself in one day. And Cupcakes are just so fun! I love the different flavors, how they are frosted, and decorated. They are made to be individual servings, which is the safest option for me. I could eat off of a cake for days, but give me one cupcake and I am all set!!
- I live in my yoga pants, sports bras, and flat shoes. My twenties was nothing but uncomfortable clothing and heals! I’m done with that!! I enjoy being comfortable at all times. Let me clarify…I do love getting dressed up for special occasions. There is something about putting on a beautiful dress, slipping into gorgeous shoes, and having your hair and makeup done. But 98% of my life is being with my son at home, in our comfy clothes.
- My favorite time of year is Christmas. I love everything about it! I never complain when Christmas music is on. I enjoy any store who wants to play it for their shoppers. My car radio is dedicated to the Holiday Hits all December long. Giving gifts is my love language. I have to watch the classic movies like It’s A Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol, and White Christmas. Our family favorites together are A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. Decorating the tree, burning Holiday candles, and wearing Christmas jammies just puts me in the most cheerful mood. I could go on forever about this, if you let me.
- One of my biggest fears in life, is growing old and not being able to take care of myself to the end. As one human being to another, we will all pass away at some point. You can’t run and hide from it. I chose to give myself a fighting chance and start living a healthier life. With the hopes that I will be strong enough to live out my life at home with my loved ones.
- I love everything about the film industry. I can watch a new movie with excitement, but I start to break down things in my head while watching it. I ask myself how did they film that scene…how many takes did it take for them to film that stunt? I look for mistakes!! Especially movies made before the early 2000’s. Catching the boom mic’s in the shot…or editing errors. For example: Jumanji, when the relator is wheeled into the ambulance, she was originally wearing rain boots out of her car, then into the ambulance wearing a pair of pumps! I love catching it all!!
- I am a die hard fan of The Golden Girls! Yes…that’s right, I love these four women to death!! I have watched them since I was five years old. I have always looked up them…I STILL look up to them. They are everything I want to be when I grow up. If you have seen the show, you know a little bit about their characters. I want to be humble and sweet like Rose, to be confident and sexy like Blanche. I want to be educated and carry myself like Dorothy, and I want to be fiery and say what I feel like Sophia! I love their deep relationships with each other, and the bond they have over cheesecake. So many incredible moments are in this series. I highly recommend you giving them a chance.
- I am a Spiritual Person. I do believe in God and my guardian angels. I truly believe I am alive today and standing where I am because of God’s blessings. My faith is something that is personal and tailored to me and my values. I am happy to talk about it with anyone, however I do not push my faith onto anyone!! What I care about in others is their qualities, their character, and their demeanor!
- Scotland and Ireland are on my bucket list. I have always wanted to stand in the middle of a National Park in Ireland and take the deepest breath and soak in that moment. I envision the air being so crisp and clean! I would love to tour the castles of Scotland and walk the cobblestone roads, just to experience the history and the beauty of it all.
