I contacted Jessica back in late January ’24, letting her know that I was ready to take my training to the next level. She was more than ready for me!! After a brief conversation of what training with her would look like, I signed up very eager to start.
We started with the Intake Form and contract. The form I filled out was pretty easy, it took maybe ten minutes to complete. It starts with your Height, Age, and Starting Weight. From there she gets to know you, what your main goal is, your current exercise regimen, how you typically eat, and so on. I sent her pictures of my home gym and all the equipment I use in order to have a custom work out tailored to me. The contract is just like any contract that you would sign once you join a gym. It’s professional and gets down to business.
What’s so great about Jessica, is that she can virtually train you from ANYWHERE! You can train in the comfort of your own home gym, or in a public gym setting. How this works is through the Everfit APP. The Everfit APP allows you to track your food, Macros, workouts, and steps. This was our connection to my daily life. Through our initial conversation revolving around food, we chose not to track Macros. Instead I let her know (in detail) what I was eating and took a picture of my meals. This was all about my personal preferences surrounding food.
After my workout was completed, I got to rate the workout and message Jessica directly letting her know how I did. We also did a weekly check in via Zoom. This was my opportunity to tell her what was working for me and what wasn’t working for me. From there we constructed a plan for that week and checked in with each other the following week.
She has been a consistent source of encouragement and support. I cannot express how much of an impact she has made on me both personally and physically. She gave me the tools and resources but I put in the hard work. February 11th was day one, my starting weight was 187lbs. As I am wrapping up my final days, I am going strong and currently weighing at 176.4lbs. More than 10lbs lost…but I’ve gained so much more than that!
I gained a strength I didn’t know I had. I limited myself for so long and through Jessica’s encouragement, upping my weights, trying something new, I ended up surprising myself. Trusting her…trusting the process…and just showing up daily for MYSELF, I hit major goals in just a short two months.
